 POTASSIUM SUPPLEMENT
The product is designated for adults, supplementing the daily diet with potassium.
COMPOSITION:
Potassium gluconate – 270 mg, 40% lyophilizated banana pomace – 222 mg and supporting substances: magnesium stearate and banana aroma. Tablet weight: 0,5 g. Potassium content in 1 tablet : 0,46 mg.
MODE OF ACTION:
Potassium controls electrolytes management and influences the organism acid-basic equilibrium, performs important function in stimulus conduction in all nerve cells. It is extremely important for muscle fibres contraction, proteins synthesis as well as glucose and glycogen synthesis. It supports maintaining liquids balance that influences the correct heart functioning and cells metabolism.
POTASSIUM DEFICIENCY SYMPTOMS:
The potassium deficiency in the organism causes among others: painful muscles contractions, general weakness, headaches, ear buzzing, excessive xerodermia, unpleasant palpitation, deficiency of appetite, restlessness, problems with concentration, slower reaction on stimulus, breathing problems, constipation, sleeping problems, youth acne and longer healing of wounds.
USAGE INDICATIONS:
The potassium supplementing is recommended in stress situations, during excessive mental and physical effort. The deficiency is caused by the excessive lost through digestive system, (long lasting vomiting and chronic diarrhea), kidneys and lever cirrhosis, when consuming huge quantity of salted food, sweets, coffee and alcohol, as a result of intense slimming diets and excessive sweating.
Nutritional value of 100g of product: proteins – 1,2 g, fat – 1,2 g, carbohydrates – 75,72 g, and energy value – 318 kcal (1352 kJ).
Nutritional value of 1 tablet: proteins – 0,006 g, fat – 0,006 g, carbohydrates – 0,379 g and energy value – 1,59 kcal (6,67 kJ).
USE:
It is recommended to take 1 tablet 1-5 times a day when eating.
WARNINGS:
It is not recommended to exceed the daily recommended dose. Do not take the preparation after the expiration date. The dietetic supplement cannot be used as a substitute of a diversified diet. During pregnancy, breast-feeding and in case of children the decision concerning using the product should be consulted with a doctor.
