COMPOSITION: 1 tablet contains: magnesium hydroasparaginicum 0,25g, potassium hydroasparaginicum 0,25g (potato starch, sugar, talc, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, methylcellulose).
PROPERTIES AND ACTION: A complex preparation containing potassium and magnesium ions as well as an amino-acid taking part in the metabolism of the nerve cells. It stimulates brain functions, improves memory, concentration and mood. It also reduces the feeling of tiredness and regulates sleep rhythms. The magnesium ion included in the preparation is essential for correct functioning of the organism as well as it affects functioning of the heart muscle and the immunological system.
INDICATIONS: Magnesium deficiency; as an aid in potassium deficiency and during treatments with diuretics.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: - should not be used in patients with severe kidney disease,
- should not be taken together with antibiotics, iron preparations or large doses of calcium (a 3-hour break between the intake of both medications is recommended),
- may cause disorders in the atrioventricular functions of the heart muscle.
INTERACTIONS: Magnesium compounds administered orally decrease the absorption of antibiotics, iron preparations and fluorine compounds. Large doses of calcium and the excess of lipids reduce assimilation of magnesium.
DOSAGE: As determined by the doctor, or:
- Adults 2-6 tablets per day in two doses, after breakfast and after the evening meal. The treatment should be continued for at least two weeks.
NON-DESIRABLE ACTION: Metallic taste in the mouth. If taken before meals, it may cause sickness and diarrhoea.
VALIDITY PERIOD: 3 years from the date of production.
Do not use if outdated.
STORAGE: Keep out of reach of children. Protect from direct light and moisture.
CONTAINER: 50 tablets.
